If you already have experience in an air frame type, then you can begin directly flying with the corresponding aircraft type. The important requirement is that you know your aircraft and are fully in control of it. A VOR DME or NDB approach, trouble-free handling of a “go-around” or flying a simple “holding” are also part of a good knowledge of the aircraft in question. Literally, each one is the „Captain“ of his own aircraft ; and is responsible for his flight from A to B, beginning with the professional flight planning until the final landing, as well as the correct decorum towards other FS pilots and the ATC.
