Requirements for new pilots: Anybody who possesses the following pre-conditions can become a member of Swissair VA: Possession of an officially purchased Flightsimulator (FS9,FSX or P3D) (FS9, FSX or P3D). Possibility to perform one flight per calendar month (short haul flights are also allowed) Possesion of a valid e-mail address. Being cosmopolitan, a caracter trait for every pilot. Being at least 18 years old, or having the permission of your parents allowing collaboration in a VA. Flying Requisitions: Good flight planning and preparation for flying from A to B. A good knowledge and command of the aircraft. Ability to perform a landing without ILS and Autopilot, for instance. Ability to perform a VOR DME approach Ability to access a VOR or NDB. Mastering of the Voice (only for those flying online, an internal instruction can be given if desired; otherwise everything that needs to be known can be found under this VATSIM (ID is required) The VATSIM regulations are also valid in our VA also for the offline pilots VATSIM or VACC A „must“ for all pilots flying in our VA: As a virtual pilot for Swissair, we expect of you absolute professionalism with regard to association and integrity.
